ROMVERSE roadmap
Internal Alpha and release gates
Progression is staged; visibility is explicit.
This roadmap separates working development capability from public release authority. Dates remain intentionally omitted until each outward-facing milestone is verified and defensible.
Current focus
Public timeline for ROMVERSE platform work
-
Current Internal Alpha
Working Desktop and Android Companion, read-only Device DNA, protected firmware projects, diagnostics and recovery, 219-guide Archives, Smart Solution review routes, and Guardian-controlled safety boundaries.
-
Planned Closed Alpha
Production signing setup, controlled release candidates, broader physical-device coverage, device-specific recovery evidence, and heavily exercised upgrade/repair journeys.
-
Planned Closed Beta
Invited external testing, structured onboarding, known-limitations reporting, signed update validation, and support operations in pilot state.
-
Planned Public Beta
Public signed distribution, verified update channels, mature recovery guidance, production service readiness, and compatibility claims limited to proven device contracts.
Latest verified checkpoint: all 1,629 Desktop tests passed locally on September 4, 2026, with the current Smart Solution workflow integration included.
Current priority: complete the Desktop experience, expand trustworthy device knowledge, close remaining signed release and physical-validation gates, then conduct heavy end-to-end testing.
